Manfish is a privately owned company based in Southern California working in the development and operation of underwater technology for use in scientific research, LE/Military, exploration, and filmmaking.
Brad Doane
Founder / President Manfish was founded by waterman and renowned cameraman Brad Doane, who has specialized in underwater and waterborne projects for over 20 years. Brad has worked on projects for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Geographic, BBC, SAIC/Maripro, Mike deGruy, PACE Technologies, Diving Systems International, The Santa Barbara Maritime Museum, Chevron, and The Associated Press among others. |

He has been a judge and featured presenter (along with Ernie Brooks II and David Doubilet) at the Festival Mondial de L’Image Sous-Marine [World Festival of Underwater Images], and a featured presenter at The Adventures’ Club of Los Angeles Annual Night of High Adventure, the Santa Barbara Underwater Film Festival, and the Boston Sea Rovers International Underwater Clinic.
His photography and writing has been published in numerous books and magazines including Outside, Skin Diver, AQUA, Ocean Realm, MACO, Santa Barbara, and Sport Diver.
Brad is a graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography Undersea Photographic Technology, SBCC Marine Technology, and SBCC Marine Science.
He has also served as a Director for the Historical Diving Society USA, and is the Founder of
Brad Doane Productions braddoane.com.
